Manager, Technical SEO

What you will do

• Support the creation of Technical SEO strategies for key clients

• Contribute the development of the Journey Further Technical SEO product by ensuring new techniques and processes are tested on accounts

• Find solutions to complex technical issues

• Clearly demonstrate the value and impact of Technical SEO activity to external stakeholders

• Manage relationships with senior client stakeholders, including Developers, Project Managers, and CMOs

• Ensure account profitability, building profitable approaches with clear scopes of work, and managing budgets appropriately

• Ensure your work is executed to Journey Further's SEO and Client Service standards

• Share your knowledge with the SEO team and support team training

• Produce or contribute to marketing content that aligns with Organic marketing plan as required

• Deliver your work with a clear understanding and alignment to the purpose, vision and mission of the organic team (and company)

Requirements

• You have strong search marketing experience, with some of that experience in technical SEO

• You have experience providing implementation of technical recommendations including site speed optimisation and the delivery of client-side JavaScript

• Experience supporting the creation and delivery of complex Technical SEO campaigns for clients, including strategic leadership of accounts, as a well as communication and management of senior client stakeholder

• You have acute commercial awareness and ability to build a profitable approach with clear scopes of work

• Experience managing SEO projects to ensure budget is used appropriately and clients understand the value of the work undertaken

• You are an excellent communicator and have experience working with all stakeholders in the technical SEO process, including but not limited to Developers, Project Managers, SEO Managers, Marketing Managers and CMOs

• Any development experience would be highly desirable
