Cover Supervisor/Supply Teacher

TeacherActive is proud to be working with several mainstream secondary schools in Leeds. The schools have a strong and supportive leadership team, with a focus on maintaining a positive learning environment and high expectations across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The schools are looking to take on a Cover Supervisor on a part time, long term basis starting immediately. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain on task in the absence of the class teacher.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• Experience working with secondary school students across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management skills
• Confidence delivering lessons across a range of subjects
• A degree or relevant education based experience
• A proactive and adaptable approach
• Excellent communication skills
