KS1 Teacher Job | Key Stage 1 Teacher | Wakefield | £130–£200 per day | Full-Time We are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher (Key Stage 1 Teacher) for a full-time role in Wakefield, offering a competitive daily rate of £130–£200 per day, depending on experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive primary school, helping pupils develop key foundational skills in Year 1 and Year 2. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons in line with the national curriculum Support pupils with phonics, early reading, writing, and numeracy Prepare pupils for KS1 SATs (Year 2) where applicable Monitor and assess pupil progress, implementing targeted interventions Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (KS1) Strong knowledge of phonics schemes (e.g. Read Write Inc, Letters and Sounds) Excellent classroom management and communication skills Keywords: KS1 Teacher Wakefield, Key Stage 1 Teacher Wakefield, Year 1 Teacher Wakefield, Year 2 Teacher Wakefield, Primary Teacher jobs Wakefield All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
