Associate Solicitor – Employers’ & Public Liability (3+ PQE)

Location: Leeds, Manchester, or Sheffield

Work Pattern: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a talented Associate to join a leading national liability defence team, working on a diverse caseload of employers’ liability, public liability, and complex injury matters. This is an excellent opportunity to work on challenging, high-profile cases in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of EL/PL and motor claims, including pre-litigated and litigated matters.
• Handle mixed-value claims, including those up to high multi-track and catastrophic injury cases.
• Advise on policy coverage and provide strategic input on claims.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with insurers, loss adjusters, corporates, and public sector bodies.
• Contribute to a team recognised for its top-tier defendant personal injury work.

About You

• UK Qualified Solicitor (3+ PQE) or CILEX with equivalent experience.
• Proven track record in defendant personal injury litigation, including high-value multi-track claims.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and proactively.
• A collaborative approach with a focus on client service.
