Sales Manager / BDM Leeds

We're looking for a Regional Sales Manager to lead growth across a portfolio of Diesel Generators, Energy Storage, and Light Towers-delivering real impact in a fast-evolving energy market. ________________________________________ The Role This isn't just another sales job. You'll combine commercial insight with technical understanding to identify opportunities, win new business, and strengthen customer relationships-all backed by a premium product offering. ________________________________________ What You'll Be Doing
- Drive revenue growth across key product lines
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across your region
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distribution partners
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations and technical presentations
- Provide expert advice and resolve customer challenges effectively
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline updates, and CRM records
- Collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams
- Represent the business at industry events and exhibitions
- Support pricing strategy, quotations, and commercial negotiations
- Contribute to wider sales strategy alongside senior leadership
- 3-5+ years' experience in power generation or technical sales
- Strong understanding of power applications and customer requirements
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a regional territory independently
- Collaborative, with a customer-first mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and CRM systems
