The school is seeking an inspirational Music Teacher for a permanent, full-time role at an Outstanding secondary school in West Yorkshire, commencing in January 2026. This position involves teaching academic Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, with significant responsibility for A-Level performance and theory.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging and rigorous academic Music lessons up to and including A-Level.
• Lead and manage a range of ensembles (e.g., choir, orchestra, jazz band) and co-ordinate annual school concerts and productions.
• Develop students' practical musicianship, technical theory, and historical analyse of musical genres.
• Track student progress meticulously, providing precise feedback to accelerate learning and maximise performance standards.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and a relevant degree specialism in Music.
• Proven experience teaching academic Music to A-Level standard.
