This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's most respected professional services firms. Our client are looking for an ambitious Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join their Leeds office.

As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you will be part of the delivery team on tax advisory and tax compliance services to a wide range of businesses, OMBs, SMEs and Listed clients.

You will lead client relationships on your own portfolio of clients and, together with the senior team, you’ll deliver solutions on stand-alone advisory projects.
You’ll focus on large and complex clients, facilitating a smooth compliance process for key clients and getting involved in delivering ad hoc advice as required.
Transactions work will also feature in your role.

This local office in Leeds is quite central in the City and has excellent transport links from areas such as York, Wetherby, Wakefield, Pontefract etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing own client portfolio
Assist clients with wide ranging planning, consultancy & advisory work
Dealing with HMRC correspondence including responding to enquiries
Developing strong working relationships with colleagues and relevant tax authorities and other interested third parties
CTA, ACCA or ACA Qualified
Experience gained within a professional services firm in a mixed tax or business tax environment.
Good knowledge of business tax compliance and ideally some exposure to planning/advisory work
