Healthcare Nurse Recruiter - Leeds

Healthcare recruitment consultant supplying nurses and healthcare support workers in Leeds.

You will be working with a large pool of cleared candidates covering the Leeds area

Clients are mainly from the private sector with some supply off framework into the NHS

The types of establishments that you will be placing your candidates will be Nursing homes, Private Hospitals, Mental health units and other places where qualified nurses will be used with a mix of long-term and ad hoc supply.

The agency is on several large PSL and Vendor frameworks so somebody that is used to working in a quick-paced recruitment environment would be ideal.

This is an established agency that has been supplying specialist industry sectors for over 20 years with multiple branches across the UK. Although one of the larger agencies they strive to keep a family feel in each of their branches, recruiters are trusted and treated as adults and with very low staff turnover this is an ideal place to build a recruitment career.

Your manager has a wealth of experience and is there to train, develop and guide you along your career path. There are no KPI’s or sales targets there will be some guidelines on how to structure your day initially then it will be down to yourself and how you feel your desk needs most attention, regular 121 will ensure that you are on the right path.

Initially, you will be given a warm desk and eased into the role. The Regional Manager currently looks after the branch so there is room for promotion to the Branch Manager or if you already have management experience you could go straight in at the level.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30 – 5.30 with 1 hour being a lunch break

The basic salary is up to £35,000 basic + good commission OTE year 1 is £50,000

Recruiters with experience from other recruitment sectors are welcome to apply ideally being from a similar sector or one that is fast-paced and requires quick thinking and organisational skills.

The interview process is with be an initial phone conversation and if that goes well followed by a face-to-face with the Regional Manager and Director. A decision will be made promptly and the start date flexible.
