Clinical Negligence Solicitor

I’m currently working in partnership with a highly regarded Legal 500 firm looking to appoint an Associate Solicitor within its Clinical Negligence team, ideally with experience in birth injury work, as part of its continued and ambitious growth plans.

This is a standout opportunity for an Associate seeking not only high quality, complex work, but also the chance to work directly alongside the Head of Department, gaining real insight into and influence over the ongoing direction and development of a growing practice.

The Role
You will manage your own caseload of complex Clinical Negligence matters, with a particular focus on birth injury and obstetric claims, alongside other high value and sensitive cases, including:

• Birth injury and cerebral palsy claims
• Obstetric negligence matters
• Misdiagnosis and delayed diagnosis claims
• Surgical error cases
• Failures in medical treatment and patient care

A key highlight of this role is the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Department on a daily basis, contributing not only to complex litigation but also to the strategic growth and direction of the team. You will have meaningful involvement beyond your caseload, including business development and shaping the future of the practice.

• Proven experience handling birth injury and obstetric claims
• Experience managing complex, high value matters
• Strong technical ability and attention to detail
• Commercial awareness and excellent client care skills
• A genuine interest in contributing to team growth and development
