Quality Engineer
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain in‑process quality control plans, procedures and work instructions across all key manufacturing stages
- Conduct inspections, testing and internal audits to identify non‑conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented before product release
- Ensure products meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements and ISO 9001 standards
- Lead structured root cause analysis using tools such as 8D, FMEA, Ishikawa, SPC and MSA
- Validate corrective and preventive actions to ensure long‑term effectiveness and sustained improvement
- Work closely with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues, reduce scrap and rework, and improve process capability
- Support the introduction and qualification of new materials, components and manufacturing processes
- Analyse quality KPIs and data trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support or oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (F.A.T) and maintain full product and material traceability
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, inspection records and test reports
- Assist with customer audits, third‑party inspections and certification activities
- Provide guidance and training to production teams on quality standards and best practice
- Support supplier quality investigations and improvement activity
