Your new firm:

Our client is a highly respected independent accountancy firm with a strong regional presence and a growing tax team .
Following continued growth and increasing demand for advisory work , they are now looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Senior to work closely with the Tax Manager and Tax Director .
With a clear succession plan in place , this role offers a genuine opportunity to progress quickly as the team continues to expand .

Your new role:

As a Corporate Tax Senior , you'll work directly with the Tax Manager and Tax Director , gaining hands-on exposure to both compliance and advisory projects .
You'll be heavily involved in client meetings, report preparation, and technical work , as well as reviewing tax computations prepared by the audit and accounts teams.
This is a highly visible role with real responsibility and the opportunity to accelerate your development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing corporate tax computations prepared by audit/accounts teams
• Supporting on a range of advisory projects including:
  • Tax clearances
  • Profit extraction planning
  • Capital allowances analysis
• Attending client meetings and assisting with report preparation
• Working closely with senior leadership on complex tax matters
• Ensuring efficient and compliant delivery of tax work

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or currently studying towards CTA
• 4-5 years' experience in tax, ideally within corporate tax compliance
• Exposure to tax advisory work (e.g. clearances, planning, or technical analysis)
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
