Year 1 Class Teacher Pay M1 - M6 Scale (Depending on skills and experience) Full time A welcoming and nurturing primary school is seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting children through the crucial transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1. The successful candidate will be passionate about early learning, with a strong understanding of phonics, continuous provision, and child-led learning. You will create an engaging and supportive classroom environment where every child feels confident to explore, develop, and succeed. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the KS1 curriculum Support pupils’ early reading, writing, and numeracy development Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment Work closely with colleagues and parents to support pupil progress The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience teaching in EYFS or KS1 QTS (Essential) Full time availability Demonstrate strong phonics knowledge (e.g. Read Write Inc or similar) Be patient, enthusiastic, and committed to early years education Have a genuine passion for helping young learners thrive All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
