Construction Solicitor
Construction Solicitor | (2+ PQE) | Leeds | International law firm A leading international law firm seeking a talented Construction Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join its highly regarded Leeds team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-quality, complex matters within a supportive and collaborative environment. The Role You will advise a diverse client base including developers, contractors, funders, and public sector bodies on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious construction matters. The team is flexible and can accommodate candidates with a preference for either specialism, or those seeking a mixed caseload. Your work will include:
- Drafting and negotiating construction contracts (including JCT and NEC)
- Advising on project risk and procurement strategies
- Handling disputes including adjudication, arbitration, and litigation
- Supporting on large-scale, high-value UK and international projects
- Qualified solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in construction law
- Experience in either contentious or non-contentious work (or both)
- Strong technical skills and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- A proactive, team-oriented approach
