Senior Fire Engineer - Remote
This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-profile projects while helping clients deliver safe, compliant buildings that protect people and property. The Role You will provide expert fire engineering consultancy across multiple projects, producing fire strategy reports and advising clients on fire safety design and regulatory compliance. The role combines technical delivery with site engagement and stakeholder collaboration, working closely with developers, architects, contractors and building control professionals. Key Responsibilities
• Produce fire strategy reports for new and existing buildings
• Develop fire safety management plans and technical advice
• Identify fire risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Advise on fire safety systems, escape strategies and building design
• Conduct site inspections and support project delivery
• Liaise with architects, developers and regulatory bodies
• Ensure compliance with current fire safety legislation and standards
These responsibilities reflect the consultancy nature of the role and the technical scope of fire engineering services delivered across projects. HRF-14 - Senior Fire Engineer Requirements Degree in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety (BEng, BSc or MSc)
• Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (MIFireE)
• Around 3+ years’ experience in a fire engineering consultancy environment
• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and guidance
