Feedstock Development Manager
Responsibilities and duties of the Feedstock Development Manager role Reporting to the Senior Feedstock Manager you will:
- Procure crop and waste feedstocks for our biomethane plants in the Northeast of the UK
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Negotiate contracts and manage supply agreements
- Analyse market trends and identify new feedstock opportunities
- Collaborate with the feedstock team to optimize procurement strategies
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and sustainability requirements
- Monitor and report on feedstock inventory and supply chain performance
- Other duties as required
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- A full UK Driving Licence (essential)
The Feedstock Development Manager role would suit someone who is:
- 3+ years of experience in feedstock procurement or similar role in the renewable energy sector
- Strong knowledge of agricultural and waste management industries
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and renewable energy regulations
