Area Sales Manager – Plumbing & Heating

This Area Sales Manager role is a field-based position promoting a leading range of plumbing and heating valves, controls, taps, showers and mixers . Managing and developing relationships with national and independent plumbers’ merchants, while working with contractors and installers to drive demand.

Package: £44k basic + £16k uncapped commission scheme (paid monthly & my client is happy to put a guarantee in place for year 1)
• Hybrid VW Tiguan, fuel card, phone and laptop
• Pension

Territory: East Midlands & Yorkshire

The Role:

* As an Area Sales Manager, you will inherit an established and well-performing area

* Selling a wide range of domestic & commercial valves, controls, taps, showers, mixers and heat pump accessories

* Managing and developing relationships with national and independent plumbers’ merchants

* Strengthening relationships at branch level to increase product awareness and sales

* Whilst working closely with contractors and installers to drive demand

The Successful Applicant:

* In this Area Sales Manager role, you will be a proactive, self-motivated field sales professional with strong communication skills

* Experience within the plumbing or heating sector would be ideal, particularly selling into merchants

* This could have been gained with a manufacturer, distributor or merchant

* Alternatively, you could be working for a merchant and looking to move into a field-based role

* A strong account manager, with a professional and organised approach to territory sales
