This is a Full-Time Mathematics Teacher position starting ASAP. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5). This role requires a dedicated professional who can balance academic rigour with empathetic classroom management. As this is an immediate start, the educator must be adaptable, proactive, and ready to hit the ground running within a fast-paced department.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
• A deep understanding of the National Curriculum for Mathematics.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Prepare students for national examinations, including GCSEs.
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment through effective classroom management.
• Collaborate with department colleagues to develop and share innovative schemes of work.
• Participate in parent's evenings and departmental meetings.
• Act as a form tutor, providing pastoral care and guidance to a designated group of students.
• Implement school policies regarding marking, homework, and behaviour.
• Integrate ICT and digital learning tools effectively into the Maths curriculum.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular Maths clubs or interventions.
