Grass Hoppers Supervisor

As the Grass Hoppers Supervisor at our Tingley site, you’ll take the reins of a buzzing catering outlet, ensuring our guests enjoy top-notch service and delicious food in a welcoming, clean, and safe environment.
From managing the day-to-day operations to developing a motivated team and driving sales, you’ll bring your energy, leadership, and passion for people to make every customer visit a memorable one. Plus, you’ll step up to cover the Manager in their absence, making you a vital part of the leadership team.
This is a part-time role , working on average hours per week during our 33.625 peak season (school holidays) and 28.625 hours per week off-peak, including alternate weekends .
What you’ll be doing:
✅ Overseeing the smooth daily running of our busy catering operation
✅ Training, developing, and inspiring your team to deliver first-class service
✅ Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
✅ Keeping on top of stock, placing orders, and reducing waste
✅ Handling rotas, timesheets, and holiday requests to keep everything running seamlessly
✅ Monitoring visitor areas to ensure they stay sparkling clean and welcoming
✅ Leading by example to handle any customer concerns in line with our Values
✅ Motivating the team to smash weekly sales targets
✅ Conducting performance reviews and supporting growth and development
✅ Covering the Manager’s duties during their absence to ensure continuity
✅ Securing and closing down the site to keep everyone safe
✅ Building positive relationships with colleagues across the business
