The Opportunity

A leading national firm is seeking a skilled and driven Medical Negligence Solicitor to join its highly regarded Clinical Negligence team in Leeds. You will become part of a department recognised for handling complex, multi-track claims and delivering meaningful outcomes for clients affected by medical errors.

The role offers a varied and rewarding caseload, alongside the opportunity to support senior lawyers on some of the firm's most complex and high-value matters. These include cases involving serious and life-changing injuries such as birth injuries, spinal trauma, cancer misdiagnosis and fatal claims.

You will be involved at all stages of the litigation process, from early investigation through to securing interim payments and achieving fair and appropriate settlements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clinical negligence matters from inception through to resolution

• Assist senior solicitors on complex, high-value claims

• Undertake legal research and draft correspondence and court documentation

• Liaise with clients, medical experts and counsel to progress cases efficiently

• Seek interim payments to support clients with rehabilitation, care and accommodation needs
