The Role

We are looking for a specialist who can spark a passion for entrepreneurship and global markets. You will be responsible for teaching Business Studies at KS4 (GCSE/BTEC) and Economics at KS5 (A-Level) . You should be comfortable moving between the practicalities of running a business and the theoretical complexities of national and international economies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Subject Delivery: Teach a range of topics including business finance, marketing, and human resources, alongside macroeconomic policy and microeconomic theory.

• Exam Preparation: Drive high standards of achievement for GCSE and A-Level students, focusing on evaluative essay writing and quantitative skills.

• Real-World Context: Integrate current affairs—such as inflation rates, trade deals, and local Yorkshire business success stories—into the curriculum.

• Vocational Support: If applicable, lead on BTEC Tech Awards or National levels, ensuring students meet all internal and external assessment criteria.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
