Clinical Negligence Solicitor
- Manage a caseload of clinical negligence claims from inception to conclusion
- Take a proactive and strategic approach to litigation and settlement
- Draft key legal documentation, including Letters of Claim and expert instructions
- Liaise effectively with clients, experts, counsel and other stakeholders
- Negotiate settlements and manage proceedings where required
- Support team performance objectives in collaboration with senior colleagues
- Mentor and assist in the development of junior team members
- Ensure accurate and compliant file management at all times
- Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in clinical negligence (aligned to Grade B level)
- Demonstrable experience handling a varied caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters
- Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- Commercially aware, with a strategic approach to case handling
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues
- Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office
