You will be joining a well-established, family-run business in the heart of Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a premium British brand in the luxury fashion and interiors sector. Established in 1865, James Hare is Britain's leading silk specialist, producing luxury textiles for the international fashion and interiors markets. This is a high-impact role where you'll take ownership of supply chain and operational processes, with a focus on improving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. You will:
- Lead and optimise day-to-day supply chain and operational processes
- Develop and implement advanced reporting using AI and digital tools
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve data visibility
- Take ownership of international shipping processes, including Incoterms
- Work closely with senior leadership to provide commercial and operational insight
- Proactively recommend and implement improvements to systems and workflows
- Maintain high standards of organisation, accountability, and attention to detail
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a senior supply chain or operations role
- Strong understanding of international trade and Incoterms
- Experience using AI tools or modern technology to enhance reporting and processes
- Highly analytical, with the ability to turn data into meaningful insight
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to challenge existing ways of working
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
- circa £40,000 salary
- Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, with flexibility for slightly earlier start and finish
- 33 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing with service
- Summer hours between 1st June and 31st August
