The opportunity to contribute to the UK's net-zero goals. Day-to-Day Your typical day will involve: Using modelling software to model energy performance and assess compliance with building regulations.
Assisting with on-site air tightness testing and interpreting results.
Collaborating with team members to develop sustainability strategies for various building projects.
Producing detailed reports and visualisations to support project delivery.
Engaging in structured training and mentorship to enhance your technical skills. Responsibilities As a Graduate Energy Modeller, you will: Conduct energy modelling and building performance analysis.
Support air tightness testing and compliance-related tasks.
Assist with Part L assessments and other building regulations compliance.
Create technical outputs using IES software and SketchUp.
Develop and visualise building models for design and reporting purposes.
Collaborate with senior engineers and consultants on live projects.
Contribute to technical reports, calculations, and sustainability strategies. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Architecture, or a related field.
Some exposure to IES software (academic or placement experience is acceptable).
Familiarity or interest in SketchUp (frequently used in this role).
A keen interest in energy modelling, air testing, and building performance.
Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
